CitySoft Sage X3 Malaysian Legislation

CitySoft are the author of the Malaysian legislation pack for Sage X3. The original Malaysian legislation pack for Sage X3, developed by CitySoft, was for Sage X3 ERP V11.  The current Malaysian legislation pack from CitySoft is compatible with Sage X3 ERP V12

CitySoft also offers a legislation extension covering Malaysian e-invoicing.
The Malaysian legislation pack from CitySoft makes Sage X3 ERP a viable ERP for Malaysian Companies.
Recent Update
MYS Legislation is available currently for Version 12. MYS Legislation comes with new parameter settings, new fields in various screens, new tables, reports for Malaysia SST, and new modules for Deemed Supply, Tax Periods, Tariff Codes, SST-02 and SST-02A.

Implementation Guidelines & Days work effort

The following days work-effort are provided as a guide as scope may differ between Groups and entities.

5 days for the legislation including –

  • Installation of the Malaysian (MYS) Legislation patch on a test folder newly refreshed by the partner or client. Any issues when creating the test folder and before installation of the patch are the client’s Sage partner of record or the client’s responsibility
  • Configuration based on the client’s provided information
  • Testing by CitySoft
  • Training session, focused exclusively on Legislation components and functions. Attendees are expected to be experienced X3 Finance users – Standard duration 2 hours.
  • Installation of the MYS Legislation patch in the live folder
  • Additional Configuration, replicate configuration done in test, in live
  • Go-live Sign-off
  • Preliminary Go-live Verification
  • Remote support during day 1 of Go-live

3 days for the E-Invoicing module 

  • Installation of the E-Invoicing patch on a test folder, only after the MYS legislation is installed, configured and signed-off.
  • Configuration based on the client’s provided information. This will require some credentials to be obtained from the IRB, test and live credentials are required.
  • Testing by CitySoft
  • Training session, focused exclusively on E-Invoicing. Attendees are expected to be experienced X3 Finance users. Standard duration 1 hour
  • Installation of the MYS E-Invoicing patch in the live folder
  • Additional Configuration, replicate configuration done in test
  • Go-live Sign-off
  • Preliminary Go-live Verification
  • 1/2 day remote support go-live day
